William Greenblatt

William is the founder and leader at Sterling and, with over 40 years of experience, is widely considered to be one of the pioneers of the background screening industry. Under his leadership, Sterling fundamentally transformed the way companies, both large and small, hire and retain the best talent for their organizations. William was honored by Ernst and Young as the Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006 and became Chairman of Sterling in 2015. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and a JD from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. William also founded Montague Street Private Partners in 2017 with the hope of acquiring and/or seeking partnerships with small businesses.
